Age, Dementia, and Disability in Cultural Scripts

Through critical performance analysis, Lee’s scholarly work has examined cultural constructs of aging and dementia narratives in theatre, performance, and film. Her publications have illuminated how contemporary performance challenges ageist narratives, expands cultural scripts of aging, and offers an embodied understanding of dementia.
